It’s intimidating to go anywhere for the first time, let alone church. As our guest, we want to ease your nerves by helping you know what you can expect when you come. Additionally, we would love the chance to meet you! If you are new with us, please visit our Welcome Desk on the main level before or after the service. Here you can find a visitor's card. Please fill it out and place it in the offering box located in the back of the sanctuary.
WHAT IS A SERVICE LIKE?
In our services, we celebrate God in a real, down-to-earth, experience. Our services have contemporary worship music with a praise band. In addition, we are committed to proclaiming the truth of God's Word as we walk through a passage of Scripture each week. Sundays at Cornerstone Family Church are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. The total service is about 1 hour.
WHEN SHOULD I COME?
We would recommend getting to the church at least 5-10 minutes before the service start time so that you can park and get into the service. If you have children, you will want to come at least 10-15 minutes early to allow time to check in your children.
IS THERE ANYTHING FOR MY CHILDREN?
Yes! During our service there is nursery available for the entire service located on the main floor for infants - 3 years old. Children Pre-K thru 5th grade will begin the service in the sanctuary with their families and will then be dismissed to Children's Church midway through the service. This allows kids to participate in worship with us.
Here at Cornerstone Family Church your children's safety is important to us! Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Children's Church program the first time that you visit. When you arrive, please see the registration table and a volunteer will be ready to help you check-in for the first time. Then each week when you check-in, your child should already be in the system and we can print out your child's tag for that Sunday. All Children's Church volunteers over the age of 18 must have a background check completed prior to working with our children.
Please note that if there is a 5th Sunday of the month there will be no Children's Church for Pre-K thru 5th grade. Children will remain with their families in the sanctuary for the entirety of the service.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Come as you are. There is no dress code. While some dress up, many will be in jeans or casual wear. Feel free to wear whatever is comfortable to you.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Every week, we will go through a passage of scripture as we seek to meet our God, find Him absolutely fulfilling, and go away different for having met with Him. Bring a Bible if you can. We use them every week! We have some to borrow if you do not have one or passages of Scripture will be placed on the overhead screen. While the bulletin does provide a space on the back to take notes, you may want to bring your own notebook if you prefer.
