CORNERSTONE KIDS
Welcome to Cornerstone Kids! We look forward to getting to know you and your family! Cornerstone Kids ministers to children from birth thru 5th grade. Our vision is that kids would come to know Jesus personally and become life-long worshippers of God. Our aim in Cornerstone Kids is to provide age-appropriate lessons and activities that allow children to get to know our great God and deepen their understanding of His Word.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN DO WE MEET?
Cornerstone Kids meets weekly on Sunday mornings during our 10 o'clock service. Children Pre-K thru 5th grade will begin the service with their families in the sanctuary. Midway through the service, students will be dismissed to Children's Church for the remainder of the service. This allows kids the opportunity to participate in worship with us on a weekly basis. When dismissed, children will head out through the back of the sanctuary and be directed to a room where the lesson for the week will be introduced. From there, kids will be separated based on age to discuss the lesson in more depth and do games or crafts that correspond with the lesson.
CURRICULUM
On Sunday mornings, Cornerstone Kids will be going through Answer in Genesis' "Answers Bible Curriculum". Answers Bible Curriculum equips young and old with facts from culture, history, and science to defend the Bible against common skeptical questions. The Bible presents true history, not made-up “stories.” Chronological teaching through the whole Bible gives our students a powerful, worldview-shaping overview of God’s Word. Games, crafts, and activities will center around the week's lesson to help with comprehension and retention.
FAMILY WORSHIP SUNDAYS
When there is a fifth Sunday of the month we have Family Worship Sundays. We believe that a crucial part of a child's discipleship is seeing the older attenders worshipping, praying, and learning together. So, on these Sundays we provide nursery care for infant thru 3 years old, but Pre-K thru 5th grade will attend worship with their family in the sanctuary.
NURSERY
Nursery is available every Sunday for ages infant thru 3 years old for the entire service. Our goal in the nursery it create a safe, engaging environment where Christ's love is poured out. If you are more comfortable keeping your infant with you during the service, we do have a parenting room that is available for you to enjoy the service in a more private and quiet environment. This room offers a live view of the service.
SAFETY
Here at Cornerstone Family Church your children's safety is important to us! Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Children's Church program the first time that you visit. If it is your first time visiting us, please arrive a few minutes early to check-in at our table and a volunteer will be ready to help you check-in for the first time. Then each week when you check-in, your child should already be in the system and we can print out your child's tag for that Sunday. All Children's Church volunteers over the age of 18 must have a background check completed prior to working with our children.
KIDZLIFE
KidzLife is our Wednesday night ministry for 1st thru 5th graders. KidzLife meets from 6-7:30pm during the school year (October - March) at the church. Click here to visit the KidzLife page to find out more information.

We are always looking to add qualified individuals to add to our teaching and support rotation. If you are interested in serving in Cornerstone Kids, please click the button below.
